In the following four photographic works, the photographer started from the aspects of framing composition, detail texture, light and shadow, and color, so that we could see different snow photos.

In our daily shooting, we can also cut in from these aspects to complete a snow photo.
1. Prospects
Foreground composition is often used when shooting scenery photos. Branches, snowflakes, stones and rivers can all be used as foregrounds. However, it should be noted that when shooting a picture with a foreground, the background must be clean.

You can also make use of the reflection of the car rearview mirror glass to form a feeling of misaligned foreground.

On a cold winter day, prepare a lamp that both serves as a foreground to compose the picture and adds to the atmosphere of the photo.

2. Lines
Line composition can better express the tension of the picture, and the combination of roads and cars is the most common.

You can also use the way of shooting up to show the sense of lines of trees.

3. Color
In winter, when the floor is covered with white, the contrast between colors can be expressed by the costumes of characters.

String led lights like this can add mood to your picture.

4. Light
No matter what season, as long as the light is used well, the texture of the photo will not be bad. When shooting snow scenes, I suggest you try more backlighting and side backlighting.

Look for some black background to show the graininess of snowflakes.

Show the hazy beauty of the picture.

5. Beautiful details
Everything can be shown in close-up to show its detailed beauty,

6. Try different lenses
A telephoto lens has the beauty of a telephoto lens.

A wide-angle lens has the beauty of a wide-angle lens.

Aerial photography shows the snow scene to a greater extent.

7. Slow shutter shooting
ND 8 and ND 1000 are two necessary filters for outdoor photographers.
ND 1000 is equal to reducing exposure by 10 levels. Use ND 1000 during the day or when the light is relatively strong.

ND 8 is equivalent to reducing three levels of exposure. It is generally used when the light is weak. Nowadays, most polarizers have the function of reducing three levels of exposure, so you don't have to buy ND 8 if you buy a polarizer.

To shoot foggy snow scenes, the exposure is generally around 60 s. Besides ensuring that your tripod is stable enough, it's best to shoot with a shutter cable.

How about it, are the snow photos taken by the photographers shocking? Everyone can also learn.
