How to set up the camera when shooting portraitsSome friends still don't know how to set the parameters in the camera. Before talking about camera parameter settings, let's talk about photographic equipment first. Most people on the camera are more focused on the camera, but in fact, when it comes to imaging and shooting When it comes to effects, the biggest impact is the lens.
What kind of lens we choose actually depends to a great extent on our shooting habits and what kind of effect pictures we want to take. For example, if we want to take portrait photos with an environment, we suggest you use a lens below 50 MM. If it is a portrait photo with more than half a length and obvious blur to separate the subject from the background, it is better to use a medium telephoto lens above 85 MM.

Generally speaking, a 28 MM or 35 MM lens can take clear photos of the environment, which is suitable for taking portrait photos with landscapes. However, unless the shooting distance is a relatively close headshot, it is difficult to have a completely virtual background. Try not to use a 28 MM lens to take portraits, because too wide a focal length is prone to distortion.

It is easy to take photos with a focal length lens above 85 mm with a completely empty background, and because the incident angle is too small, the coverage of the background will be very narrow. Even if there is a background, there will be no very wide background, which is suitable for shooting half-length portraits. Although the standard lens of 50 MM can't reach the extreme performance of wide angle or medium telephoto, it can represent the environment at a relatively small aperture and blur the background at a large aperture.

If you want to take a portrait photo with a more obvious blur effect, you still need to use some factors, that is, the position of the subject. Similarly, under the same premise of the other two factors, the distance between the subject and the photographer (The closer the camera) is, or the farther the subject is from the background, the more obvious the blur effect will be.
If you want to take portrait photos in motion, you must increase the shutter speed. If it is a low-light environment, it will be more difficult to shoot. It can only be solved by opening a large aperture or increasing sensitivity. We suggest that you still need to experiment more when shooting portraits in a low-light environment.
