In this weather, the photography is super artistic!

It's raining again.

And according to the weather forecast, it will still rain for the next week.

I'm a little excited to think about it ~

After all, as such an excellent photographer, rainy days have their unique charm-not to mention making the weather less stuffy ~ ~

For example, photographing plants on rainy days is a very "easy to use" technique. Because not only will the soft light make the colors more gorgeous, but the flowers washed by rain will also look cleaner. If you add the rain left on the petals, the effect will be perfect.

In fact, cloudy days are very mild weather, because the light is very even and soft.

There is no obvious light and shadow distribution between scenery and people, and it seems that the contrast is not obvious, but from another angle, you don't need to make a difficult choice between light and shadow contrast, and the difficulty of exposure is greatly reduced.

Because the scenery is evenly illuminated and the exposure difficulty is not so high, we can have more energy to consider things such as composition and expression.

1. Colors on rainy days

The charm of a rainy day may be at your muddy feet. Have you tried crouching down in the drizzle to see the little flowers on the side of the road? You will find that they will appear more colorful than usual at this time.

This is not only because rain washes away the dust on flowers, but also because rain reduces the floating dust in the air and reduces the influence of air on color.

In addition, due to the obvious contrast on sunny days, it can be extremely difficult to retain the details of bright and dark parts at the same time.

Although the light is dark in rainy days, it is very uniform and the colors can be well displayed.

In rainy days, the colors in nature are shades and light, so we can shoot more gorgeous colors, so that we can get beautiful colors like washed.

2. Soft light effect

Except for the rainstorm covered by dark clouds, the light effect during daytime rainfall is basically similar to that on cloudy days, with the light intensity slightly lower by one or two levels, softer light and lower contrast.

The portrait photos taken at this time will be soft and delicate.

Because, as just mentioned, the scenery will become clearer and colorful when it rains, so the portraits taken on rainy days are often fresh and soft.

3. Characters on rainy days

The charm of rainy days is far more than that, and the unique scene formed by rain itself is only one aspect of its help to creation.

More importantly, rainfall can also make people present a different living condition from usual.

Because rain can bring emotions to people, just like the sad or reunion happy scenes in movies like to be arranged on rainy days, which will more likely cause the inner fluctuation of viewers.

When it rains, the state of the characters will be different from usual, and the characters' personalities will be more obvious, especially children. At this moment, they will show stronger excitement than usual because of curiosity.

When it rains, you can walk around the street and find a different mood from usual. Figures eager to go home, figures walking carefully for fear of getting wet, eyes waiting anxiously under the eaves without umbrellas, feet wearing rubber shoes happily stepping on the water under bright raincoats, couples close together under a big umbrella, etc.

It can be said that there will be different discoveries at every step. If you come to the platform where the train is about to leave, the muddy construction site, and the school gate just after school, you will definitely encounter more touching scenes.

If you want to shoot the rain scene at night, you can also show the colorful lights.

4. Rain thread

The rain itself is also a beautiful sight. Many excellent photography works will take close-ups of the rain, forming streaks. Slowing down the shutter speed of the camera and letting the raindrops form "rain threads" will make the rain more artistic.

We can also further control the effect of rain in order to express different themes. For the same size of rain, we can slow down the shutter speed to turn it into a "downpour", or we can increase the shutter speed to bring a "drizzle" effect.

Different effects can match different content performances. For example, to show the sentry standing still in the rain, we can slow down the shutter to highlight the fineness of the rain. If you want to photograph ancient buildings in the rain, you can slightly increase the shutter speed to prevent too much rain from blocking the appearance of the building.

5. Road water accumulation

Ground water is also a special scene brought by rain. After the originally rough road surface accumulates water, the reflectivity is greatly improved, and it becomes a complete "mirror".

The accumulated water on the road can also form the reflection of the scene. Using the accumulated water on the road when it rains to shoot interesting reflections can reflect the wisdom of photographers.

You can use these reflections with your imagination as much as you want. In addition, if it rains in the evening, the neon lights of the city will also bring bright but hazy colors to the rain scene, just like the dye blurred in the water.

6. Glass window

Besides the water surface, glass windows are also one of the commonly used "props" for rain shooting. Water droplets on the glass window can easily create a fresh, secluded atmosphere.

Shooting through raindrops on glass is the most commonly used technique.

When the rain hits the glass, it will form droplets of water, and the newly falling rain will form transparent traces, through which you can faintly see the scenery outside the window. And the dense water droplets, like a color palette, make the colors outside the window blend together.

The water drops on the glass window can easily create a "fresh" and "quiet" atmosphere.

Therefore, whether you are at home when it rains or sheltering from the rain in the mall, you can try to capture a unique rain scene by using the glass window in front of you.

At this time, if you are on the bus home from work, you can pick up the camera and come to the "big glass" exclusive to the driver, and press the shutter when waiting for the wipers to pass by to form a clear fan shape. The clear scene in the fan-shaped area forms a completely different texture from the fuzzy colors covered by water droplets around it.

The red taillights of the car in front, the yellow lights of the car opposite, the green traffic lights, and the reflection on the ground will all be mixed into different effects in these two different media. As long as you master the exposure well, you can take very wonderful photos.

All in all, rainy summer also has its charm. As long as you make good use of your camera machine, you can take pictures of different scenery.
